About Me
Hello, my name is Katelyn Borello
I am currently a senior at CUNY Hunter College, with a concentration in Environmental Earth Science. I will be graduating in the spring of 2023.

My particular field of interest lies within Environmental Public Health and Safety issues. In the future, I would like to help people and buildings nationally and internationally from environmental health issues that have to do with hazardous materials, air quality, asbestos, water treatment and testing, mold and groundwater remediation, mechanical inspections and fuel oil testing. I hope to go to graduate school and get my masters to become a Certified Industrial Hygienist.
I have also always loved nature and the environment as a whole, spending all my free time outside as much as possible, whether its hiking, gardening, going on a walk or to the beach. I have gained a recent interest in farming and agriculture, as well as the whole role of agronomy in agriculture and raising animals, like cattle and horses.
Ever since I was a little kid, I spent every waking moment outside, going upstate on the weekends and exploring the woods, going on hikes and camping or going to my grandmas house and going to the beach that was two blocks away. I would run through the tall grass of the fields or the shady wooden trees imagining I was in my own world exploring the great unknown. I also love going fishing on the weekends with my dad, as well as cooking whatever recipe I come up with, blasting music and dancing as I do so.
